The G20 is internationally recognized as the leading platform for fostering global economic cooperation. Playing a crucial role in shaping and reinforcing the global economic and developmental landscape, this forum convenes the world's major economies to address pressing international issues.

• The Group of Twenty (G20) comprises 19 member countries: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Türkiye, United Kingdom, and United States; alongside the European Union.
• Collectively representing approximately 85% of the global GDP, over 75% of worldwide trade volume, and around two-thirds of the world's population, the G20 holds significant influence on the global economic stage.

Assuming the G20 Presidency on December 1, 2022, India is set to lead the organization for one year until November 30, 2023.
